Looking After You

It’s world wellbeing week, a chance for us to celebrate what wellbeing means to us and shine a light on how important it is that we take time to focus on our wellbeing.

Hypnotherapy can support aspects of our wellbeing. I want to share advice on relationships, creating healthy financial habits, keeping a positive mindset, relaxation and looking after your body with healthy choices.

Relationships We have many relationships, be that romantically, with friends, family, coworkers and so on; and those relationships don’t always run smoothly. We can find that past experiences, especially trauma can have a negative impact on our relationships. Things you experiences as a young person might impact your adult relationships. You may have a lack of confidence which means you struggle to communicate your needs. Or maybe the other person has said something to you that you can’t let go of. Hypnotherapy can help you understand why you might be having problems connecting with your relationship and help you replace any negative thoughts or unwanted behaviour with new positive ones.

Finances I’m not going to be able to hypnotise you into being a millionaire. But I can support you in overcoming any unwanted financial habits or behaviours you may have, and this could allow you to then become more financially stable and build the future you want.

Staying Positive A positive mindset will have a huge impact on your wellbeing. If we feel positive about life, ourselves and our decisions then our overall sense of wellbeing will improve. Hypnotherapy can support you in challenging any negative thoughts you have about yourself and support you in feeling much more self-assured and confident.

Relaxation Everyone needs time to relax and unwind. To give our mind and body time to rest, and recover. Many people tell me they can’t relax, they just can’t seem to switch off. Hypnotherapy can show you many different ways of teaching your conscious mind to calm, and allow you to relax. It doesn’t have to be the traditional visualisations where you can easily become distracted. Making healthy choices Hypnotherapy can also support you in building healthy habits around exercise and eating too. We can work together to understand what’s been holding you back from making the changes, and then create a plan together for what new healthy habits you want to create.
